Over the weekend we held our 1st fashion waste initiative for the year 2020; The POP Shop and friends. This time around we switched locations (from The Warehouse) to Nyoŋmɔ Wɔkwɛɔ, the space below ANO Gallery, opposite our shop.
This space will be available for future events so watch out for updates on that.
We had on sale various items ranging from cut off jean shorts, hand-painted jeans pants, to shoes, jackets and many more. Big shoutouts to Fafa (Upcycle Thrift), Divine (Rey Del Arte) and Esther (The POP Shop) for putting this together. Much appreciated.
We were excited to see people come through and browse through stuff they clearly liked. So we won’t bore you with too much talk. Here are some scenes at the event.
