“Reggie! a.k.a Sabi Boy is a fast-rising rapper who grew up in Lagos, Nigeria. His first interactions with the music scene started at the age of 16 when he would frequently write punch lines and record at a neighbour’s home studio.
“Life in minutes” is his third body of work, on this 5-Track Afro-Fusion EP he colours outside the lines and defies sonic boundaries, and draws inspiration from unavailable women.
On Life in Minutes, he oscillates between the authoritative but playful cadence, pondering unfulfilled love on “Indiana Jonze”, willing to pay it like a stipend on “Price” which was previously released as lead singles.
He bends his reality into music with Skillz 8figure, regular collaborator Chika Blaze, & Kris Hans for the ride.
“This project gives a nostalgic feeling that reminds me of simpler times which is clearly expressed by the artwork”.
