CHEZA TOYS

This African-featured toy company doesn’t just make toys, they create a learning experience for children and grown-ups alike. The word Cheza is a Swahili word which means to play. The brand collaborates with local creatives across the region in order to celebrate our differences, disrupt the toy industry along with this most diverse, elegant and rich continent.

In Ghana, Kukua means “a girl born on Wednesday”. Fun fact, their feature doll, Kukua was named in honour of the day Ghana gained her independence March 6, 1957, which happens to fall on a Wednesday.

Cheza seeks to illustrate the rich African culture through fashion, learning toys and old African proverbs from across the continent.
